Matt had a get together at his house one night. I tried to be cool like Matt and attempted the double front flip off the diving board. Turns out that I made both rotations but I had turned my head the last moment. Right then I knew that I had ruptured my ear drum. Five other moms including Mrs. Tyner came to my rescue. They called the doctor asking what they should do and they prayed over me. That night I slept over at Matt's house. The next morning she cooked two huge packages of bacon from Costco. Before breakfast started Matt and I ate them all. Mrs. Tyner was so shocked and frustrated she didn't know what to do with us growing boys. Mrs. Tyner, I'll miss you dearly Mr. Tyner, Matt, and Desiree, my love and prayer goes out to you from California. My friends and a local church is praying for you as well.
