May 7, 1976, that was the day Karin came to our family. I always seemed to remember that date and wished Karin "Happy Coming to America Day" most years. Karin was adopted into the Felton famiy nearly 3 years after my little sister Kimberlee was in 1973. It was really more like a birthday to me than an arrival day. I always felt that we were truly blessed to have Karin and Kimberlee become part of our family. They made our family complete. Karin was such a special person and was the sister that gave in so many ways to my family. In a text I sent her on May 7, 2011, remembering the anniversary of Karin joining our family, I typed: "Happy Coming to America Day Karin! 35 years ago today you came to our family and I know the party wouldn't have been the same without you. This was her reply:" Thanks Kenny, Wow thats hard to believe, 35 years ago. I thank God and Mom and Dad for my wonderful life." I too am thankful to God for Karin being brought into my life.
