My first memory of Karin was from about 5 years ago. Dewey came home from the resource room with the gift of two quart jars of home canned peaches. I could hardly wait to meet the lady who had given them to him. For it would be a special person in this day & age that would can peaches & give them away! To know Karin was to love her...right from the start. She was very modern with old fashioned values that were so refreshing. The peaches were just the beginning of Richard & Karin's generosity to us. It just overflowed right from their hearts. The joy of the Lord was always apparent in Karin no matter what her circumstances. I will always remember her sweet smile & the lilt in her voice as she spoke - almost like a song. Richard, Matthew & Desiree - we thank the Lord for the memories of Karin that we will forever cherish. We were truly blessed by her friendship. Dewey & Liz Nigma
